Sometimes they just amaze you!

Kanaan has be driving me nuts lately. He has been doing everything he can to make his sister mad, he has been crying like a baby to everything. Like tonight he would not stop crying because he couldn't get his radio at the right volume for when he goes to bed . So anyways tonight we decided to do some things outside like cut the grass, trim the flowers etc and I heard Kanaan say " Doesn't that fence need to be fixed?" than he proceed to grab a hammer and some nails and find a stool so he could reach( it is actually a rubermaid container) and went over to the neighbours fence and started to fix it. Low and behold he actually did it by himself.

Kanaan surprises me just when I have almost of had enough of him. This makes up for everything else.

We well see how tommorow goes!

I have had my camera for ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh along time and I never really have time to play with it so today at Skaha I deceided to try out a button and it was so cool. It is amazing what you can do if you have time to play with all the buttons. This button was just a continous shotting so I got Kanaan going down the slide.

Kanaan's Swimming lessons at Peachland Beach

Way to Go Kanaan! Kanaan passed Swimming lessons for the first time at Peachland Beach! As soon as he was done he asked when he could go again. Thank goodness because the very first day of swimming lessons we left early because he was crying like a baby and after two weeks he was asking for more. Why is it such a struggle to get them to do anything!

Fathers Day!

We went up to Sugar lake with My Dad, the kids and Jay and Mel Friesen and there the kids for a Father's day fire and fishing trip. Little did we know that it would be super windy and pretty crappy for fishing. We made the best of it and tried to warm up by the fire. The guys through the rods in a couple of times and than we roasted some winnies and called it a day. Chris, Dad, the kids and myself continued up the very bumpy, gravel, off the side of the mountain roads to find "Headwaters" and "Peachland" Lake. Peachland is beautiful but Iwouldn't recommend anyone with a weak stomach to go up there. I was telling chris every minute or so to "go slower"," be carefull"

Happy Father's Day!!

No Voice!

I have been fighting something for almost a week and it has finally shut me up!

I have no voice, just a whisper today! If you think I'm lying just try calling me!

I have learnt one huge lesson this morning.

MY KIDS CAN HEAR A WHISPER!
Do you know what that means?
It means that I shouldn't have to yell at the kids in order for them to listen to me!
All morning they have been listening and I can't even talk. Funny how that works.
When I ask Kanaann 3 times to do something he can't hear me when I yell at him he still can't hear me or understand me but when I whisper something he can hear me the first try.

I might have to pretend all week that I can't talk and see what I can get accomplished with the kids.

Beach Bums

Wow I can say I have a good life. Nothing like going to the beach on a Friday afternoon and enjoying the sun. I ran into so many people it was nice to just hang out. We did get sunburnt but we are already planning the day tommorow. This time boating! I can't believe how fast these kids grow up.
